I Ching Acupuncture and the Balance Method is one of the most popular systems for the practice of Acupuncture. David learned the Balance Method from its founder, Dr. Chao Chen, and his son Yu Chen, L.Ac. Combining over 30-years of studying, practicing, writing and teaching I Ching, Feng Shu, Chinese Astrology, Qi Men Dun Jia, Qi Gong, Nei Dan and Chinese Medicine, David is uniquely qualified to teach the theory and clinical applications of The Balance Method – I Ching Acupuncture.

Join David for a journey through Chinese history as we explore the Chinese philosophies, theories, principles and energy models that comprise major aspects of Chinese medicine and The Balance Method.
In this workshop, David presents yin-yang, five phases, tai chi, eight trigrams, early heaven ba gua, later heaven ba gua, nine palaces and the he tu and how they relate to the human body and the practice of Acupuncture. AND how the Nei Jing Ling Shu integrates with and supports I Ching Acupuncture.
I Ching Acupuncture – The Balance Method shows how acupuncture is a channel based system. You will learn how to select the primary channel for treatment and how to select supporting channels based on Nei Jing classical acupuncture theory.
David will introduce Five Balance Methods. This is a comprehensive presentation of these methods. Emphasis is placed on how to immediately apply these methods in clinical practice.
If you want to learn the logic, theory and principles behind many applications of Chinese medicine and Acupuncture, you will find this workshop a comprehensive teaching of the original Balance Method.
